Natasha Jansz is a Los Angeles-based designer working on Residential, Commercial and Hospitality projects. 

From a childhood spent in Sydney, Sri Lanka, England and Connecticut, Natasha made her way to California for college. She earned a Fine Arts degree from USC before completing UCLA's rigorous Master of Interior Architecture program while assisting designers on multi-million dollar residences. Natasha Jansz Design was launched in 2006, designing spec homes for developers. This work led to residential clients who sought NJD's help in creating comfortable, eclectic spaces that personally suited their lifestyles. Developers and owners of multi-family properties such as West Hollywood's Hancock Lofts followed, seeking NJD's vision and services to transform apartment buildings from concept design to renovation to staging.

Recently NJD has brought a fresh aesthetic to the redecoration of a series of hotel suites at the historic California Club in downtown Los Angeles. 

Another favorite project is the designer's own backyard renovation and new construction of an architectural ADU housing her design studio, office, and a separate private apartment. It reflects her passion for maximizing a property's potential to suit its owners current needs, with consideration of a flexible view towards the future, and plenty of wish-fulfillment to boot! As with all of Natasha's signature interiors, it is architecture-driven, highlights a connection between indoor and outdoor living, and quietly belies an enthusiasm for color, texture, pattern, organic elements and vintage treasures to create unique, inviting spaces.

 

Past work of Natasha's has been featured on House Beautiful, Apartment Therapy, Houzz and the Celebrity Style section of Elle Decor. Her design was included in the book, Green Home Improvement, and she has also transformed kitchens and other rooms with her contractor husband on HGTV's Househunters' Renovation. The designer's own home was featured in Ventura Blvd magazine.
